CALCIUM CARBONATE & DOLOMITE
The Mineralogical and physio-chemical properties of any Calcium carbonate and Dolomite plays a vital role in its selection to use with any specific polymer.
In the production of plastic compounds, mineral fillers are one of the additives that when incorporated in their formulation define the quality of the final product.
The effect that fillers produce over the properties of the plastics is highly dependent of the particle size, the distribution of the particle size, and the strength of the union between the filler particle and the polymeric matrix. In filler's selection, and this is the case of MICRONCARB®, many properties has to be taken in consideration, as :
