Basic Raw material is a steatic Talc, Also known as Soapstone. Steatic Talc is formed by thermal metamorphisum of siliceous Dolomite rocks. Talc is known as one of the softest mineral. Talc crystal is like a microscopic note-pad, where each page is made up of a thin sheet of Magnesium sandwiched between two layers of Silica. The smooth water repellant surface of each particle slide against one another, resulting in a soapy feel and exhibiting pearly lustre and appearance.
At mines, manual sorting is carried out to get ore of maximum whiteness. Excellent quantity Talc lumps are micronised from 37 microns to 5 microns. Micronised Talc is surface-treated with coupling agents by MICRO-COATING process for specific use in Engineering Plastics (Nylon).
