Calcined clay is an anhydrous aluminum silicate.
It produced by heating a fine natural china clay to high
temperature in a kiln. This calcination process gives as
increase in hardness and alter the particle shape of kaolin.
Calcined Kaolin is inert
and provides desired level of reinforcement. This will enhance
optical properties, abrasion resistance, electrical resistance,
brightness and inertness.
Calcined clay
treated with silanes enhances cross linking with rubber and
polymer matrix and renders superior reinforcement in end applications.
Improved processing and dispersion
Enhanced mechanical strength
Improved impact and flexural strength
