Based on a finely processed natural phyllosilicate, ATPGEL develops a colloidal network in water-based formulations to provide thixotropic thickening, suspension stability and viscosity control. Its reversible gel structure allows easy flow under shear and rapid viscosity recovery at rest, helping improve sag resistance, anti-settling and application consistency. It is particularly suited to aqueous paints, coatings and related formulations where stable rheology and partial replacement of organic thickeners are required.
